Gettysburg Memorial Day Parade, May 30, 2005

Having Gettysburg in our council, we have some unique opportunities. Marching in a parade with both Confederate and Union Soldiers through the streets and battlefields was very cool.
The troop was honored to be in the parade, and invited members of the newly formed Crew 205 to join us.
At the cemetery, a participant paid homage to President Lincoln, reciting his Gettysburg Address to a large crowd.
The Grand Marshall and main speaker was Astronaut Neil Armstrong, who spoke about how important duty is today, as it was back then.
