|Saturday we traveled from PA to Sturbridge, MA. We spent the night in a building at a local private campground, courtesy of the management. Saturday evening was spent playing games, conducting a few Board of Reviews, and working on some Scouting skills.|
Sunday we checked into Wah-Tut_Ca Scout Reservation where we spent the week. The weather was wet – New Hampshire is setting records for rain this year. Scouts participated in many traditional Camp activities through the week.

The Theme for Wah-tut-ca in 2008 was “Choose Your Own Adventure.” Our Scouts took advantage of every activity in camp, including many new activities.

The final day of the trip was spent hiking in the White Mountains.
The experienced Scouts climbed up the Flume Slide Trail, crossed Mt. Flume to Mt. Liberty and descended for a total of over 10 miles. This is considered one of the toughest trails in New England.
The less experienced Scouts hiked the trail up Mt. Liberty, and then descended, for over 8 miles.
