We left Shrewsbury with the first snowfall of the year on the ground, rain falling gently, and cold temperatures, and made the drive to middle New Jersey.

Lee competed in the hardest level course allowed, solo. He was allowed to do this after showing that he knew how to run a course on previous events, and demonstrating that he was able to run a course alone.

Ethan and Nic, following their successful placing at a previous event, were encourages and ran a tougher course, the “Long” version of an intermediate course. These two sixth grader completed the course in a respectful time, defeating several high school and ROTC teams that were present.

Congratulations to all the participants.
