On the the night of December 27, Troop 205 attended the annual Hershey Bears scout night at the Giant Center in Hershey PA.

Camping Cook Off at Camp Ware

On the weekend of December 6-8 Scouts from Troop 205 went cabin camping at Camp Ware located in the Chester County Council. The feature event of this campout was a COOK OFF.

On the weekend of November 1-3, Troop 205 attended the 2013 World Championship Pumpkin Chunkin.
The event was held in Bridgeville Delaware.

Sam's Eagle Scout Ceremony

On October 6, 2013, Troop 205 scouts, area Scout leaders, friends and family came to meet at St John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Freedom PA for the Eagle Scout Court of Honor Ceremony for Sam.

Encampment

Gettysburg 150th Anniversary Encampment

On the weekend of September 27-29, Troop 205 attended the Gettysburg 150th Anniversary Encampment. This year marks the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg. The Scouts were permitted to camp at Spangler's Farm. This was the most Troop 205 Scouts to ever attend an event!

Car Show

Advanced Auto Car Show

On September 21, 2013, Troop 205 helped out at the 9th Annual Advance Auto Car Show, the Car Show benefits Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Troop 205 helps out at the Car Show as a service project. The Scouts and Leaders set up tents; help ran the RC corral and helped with the tear down (in the wind).

Mike W. Eagle Scout Project

On Saturday August 25th, Michael W. and several Troop 205 Scouts completed his Eagle Scout Project. Michael`s Eagle Scout Project was to build picnic tables for a future Pavilion in Codorus Township.

Michael had precut all the lumber previous to August 25.

On Saturday August 10th, Drew Y and several Troop 205 Scouts completed his Eagle Scout Project. Drew`s Eagle Scout Project was to build benches at the Paul Smith Library of Southern York County in Shrewsbury, PA.

Scout Jamboree

National Scout Jamboree

The 2013 National Scout Jamboree was the 18th national Scout jamboree held by the Boy Scouts of America from July 15, 2013 to July 24, 2013. It was the first national Scout jamboree held at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia and the first jamboree to include Venturers as participants. Projected attendance was over 50,000 Boy Scouts, Venturers, volunteers and staff.

Guppy Gulch

Between July 7 and 13, Several Scouts from Troop 205 went to Guppy Gulch to become certified in Scuba driving. Some of the scout from last year also attended. The Scouts are becoming certified in Scuba diving for the 2014 High Adventure trip to Seabase.

Eagle Project

Luke's Eagle Scout Project

On the weekends of June 8 and 22 of 2013, Luke completed his Eagle Scout Project. The Eagle Scout Project was to build two poly lumber benches from scratch for St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Luke had help from Troop 205 scouts Aaron F, Ethan B, Dylan w, Eric S, Merle B, Michael W, Andrew W. Also helping was Luke's father and Mrs. Weaver. The project was completed in several steps including, planning, fundraising, cutting, preassembly, site work and installation.

Between June 16 to the 22; 22 Scouts from Troop 205 were joined by 3 Scouts from Troop 121 (Steven, Zachary, and Richard) for a full week of Summer Camp at Camp Ockanickon in Pipersville, PA.

On the weekend of May17-19 Scouts from Troop 205 participated in the 7th Annual Merit Badge Camporee at Sweeny Park in Shrewsbury, the home of Troop 90.

On Saturday May 4th, Scouts from Troop 205 (Ethan, Dylan B, Matt W, Greg, Colin, Matt S, Rohit, Zach, Trevor, Aaron B.) travelled to French Creek State Park to compete in the Mid-Atlantic Orienteering Competition (MASOC).

Pawsabilities

Pack 69 Blue and Gold

On the weekend of March 9 and 10, Scouts and family members worked the annual PawsAbilities Service Dog show held at at the Harrisburg Farm show complex. All proceeds from PawsAbilities benefits the work of Susquehanna Service Dogs. This year's events included the Dog Olympic Games, Cutest Dog Contest and the Great Biscuit Bite-Off.

On February 16, 2013, representatives of Troop 205 were invited to the Pack 205 Blue and Gold ceremony to see Ian, Rohit, Alex, Corbin, J.C., Matt, Matt, Chase and Zachary bridge over to become Troop 205 Boy Scouts. The theme of this year's Pack 205 Blue and Gold was science.

Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner

On February 12, Troop 205 helped run a Pancake dinner on Shrove Tuesday at Grace Methodist Church. The proceeds went to fund a service dog for a young man whom is a member of Grace Methodist Church.
