Three members of Troop 205 (Drew, Ben, and Andrew) traveled with a Troop from Alabama to the Northern Tier High Adventure Camp.
From June 27 through July 2; they were in the Atikokan camp. The Atikokan camp offers scouts a chance to experience what it may have been like
to be a Voyageur of the 18th century, transporting fur across the Canadian wilderness via canoe and portage. For 6 days, we paddled across many
lakes and rivers for a total of over 75 miles, often having to walk between lakes, carrying all of our supplies and canoes on a portage.
Looks like Boy Scout High Adventure alright!
